European Media Art Network presents
European Media Artists in Residence Exchange 2010
The European Media Art Network provides residencies in England, Germany, France and the Netherlands for European artists With support of the City of Utrecht, the Arts Council of England and the regional municipalities of Saxony-Anhalt in Germany and Centre in France, the European Media Art Network will host up to six European Media Artists in Residence Exchanges within 2010. Europe based Media Artists in the fields of digital media including internet and computer based art, filmmakers, sound and video artists are invited to apply for a two months artist residency at IMPAKT, Utrecht, Netherlands; Bandit Mages, Bourges, France; FACT, Liverpool, United Kingdom or at Werkleitz Centre for Media Arts in Halle, Germany. Students are not permitted, but young artists encouraged. EMARE includes a grant of 2.000 Euro, free accommodation, up to 250 Euro travel expenses, access to the technical facilities and media labs and a professional presentation. Entries should include the application form (downloadable from the website), a CV, (audio) visual reference projects documentation (no originals) and a proposal sketch for the project which should be developed within EMARE. European Media Artists in Residence Exchange
Das European Media Art Network vergibt EMARE- Stipendium für Europäische Medienkünstler in Deutschland, Großbritanien. Frankreich und den Niederlanden. Der sechzehnte European Media Artists in Residence Exchange wird von Frühling bis Herbst 2010 stattfinden. In Europa lebende Medienkünstler aus den Bereichen Digitale Medien, Internet und Computerkunst, Film / Video und Sound sind eingeladen, sich fuer das zweimonatige Stipendium zu bewerben. Partnerzentren und Stipendienplätze werden vergeben von Foundation for Art and Creative Technology (FACT), Liverpool in England, dem IMPAKT Festival, Rotterdam, Niederlande, dem Bandit Mages Festival, Bourges, Frankreich und Werkleitz- Zentrum fuer Medienkunst Sachsen-Anhalt, Halle (Saale), Deutschland. Studenten sind nicht berechtigt. Das EMARE Stipendium beinhaltet 2.000 €, freie Unterkunft, bis zu 250 € Reisekostenzuschuss, freien Zugang zur vorhandenen Technik und eine professionelle Präsentation.
Bewerbungen sollten beinhalten: das Formblatt, eine CV, visuelle Dokumentationen bisheriger Arbeiten (keine Originale) und einen Projektvorschlag.
